MISSION SUPPORT STAYS STRONG AS SOME CHURCHES STRUGGLE PDF Print E-mail
Written by Bro. Jerry Wilkins

Associational MINISTRIES are STILL frozen in their budget allocations BUT churches are still holding on to thier "mission commitments. These are tough times for many faithful members and for our "family of churches". We understand these tight times and will seek to use mission money in the best way possible. The lost and unchurched are still out there waiting.

G.P.S.  God's Plan for Sharing begins in our churches as they "prayer walk/ride" thier communities in Feb. and do door to door distribution of the "GOOD NEWS" in the weeks leading up to "Harvest Day" on Easter. Call 339-2273 for training DVD and materials for personalization and distribution in your area.

Our MISSION:

The Association's mission is to "assist member churches in the fulfilling of the Great Commission"!

Examples of this assistance include:

     * Training for church leaders

     * Evangelistic campaigns and projects

     * Public Relations media outreach to the lost and unchurched

     * Joint ministries that involve volunteers from many member churches

     * A pro-active effort to share Jesus with every act of service or ministry

Welcome to our Website!

    We welcome you and are delighted over your visit to our website.  The churches of our Association seek to serve our Lord and our community as His ambassadors and communicators of His Good News for all people.

   The staff team of the Association is here to serve the pastors, ministers, layleaders, and members of the member churches. They have entrusted to the Associational Staff Team and the elected leaders the carrying out of many strategies and activities that will help the member churches be ON MISSION TOGETHER.

Touching People

Your Association is touching lives...
     ...THROUGH FOOD AND CLOTHES FOR THE NEEDY

     ... THROUGH FREE MEDICAL CARE FOR THE UNINSURED

     ... THROUGH OUTREACH AND MINISTRY TO STUDENTS ON LOCAL CAMPUSES

     ... THROUGH DISASTER RELIEF VOLUNTEERS ON TEAMS FOR FEEDING, CLEAN-UP, CHILDCARE, CHAINSAW WORK, AND COUNSELING DURING DISASTER.

     You see, hundreds of volunteers make Associational Missions what it is...caring people reaching out to people in need of spiritual, physical, and emotional assistance.
